JONATHAN JACOBY

Jonathan Jacoby is Director of the Nexus Task Force, a study group comprised of leading academics and practitioners that analyzes issues related to Israel and antisemitism.

Jonathan was the founding director of Israel Policy Forum, a leading independent, nonpartisan think tank/advocacy organization working for sustained U.S. efforts to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict. He was also the first director of New Israel Fund, which has become the main source of support for progressive social change efforts in Israel.

As co-founder of Support for Accelerated Research (SOAR), he pioneered a new model for rare disease research in which scientists collaborate openly with their colleagues and with patients and patient advocates.

Jonathan received a Master’s in Education degree from Harvard University, a Bachelor of Literature in Judaic Studies from the University of Judaism, and Bachelor of Arts in the History of Religion from the University of California at Los Angeles.
